Cyberjaya - Sekumpulan pelajar dari Pusat Pengajian Pengkomputeran (SOC) telah memenangi hadiah utama selepas muncul juara dalam pertandingan ‘DELL Hack2Hire’ yang telah berlangsung pada 15 hingga 16 Mac lalu.
Kumpulan tersebut dikenali sebagai ‘Code Crush’ itu terdiri daripada empat pelajar Semester 5, program Sarjana Muda Sains (Teknologi Maklumat) iaitu Sangeetha Sandran, Deborah Nazarena, Anushiya Irrulappen dan Shyvonne Ho Yue Lynn.
Mereka memenangi hadiah utama iaitu tawaran pekerjaan dari Dell Technologies, latihan industri di Dell Technologies, program pembangunan IT selama dua tahun enam bulan yang akan ditaja sepenuhnya oleh pihak Dell serta Program Rotasi.
Hadiah utama ini turut merangkumi sebuah monitor Dell 24-inci.
Pertandingan tersebut turut disertai pelajar dari pelbagai universiti awam dan swasta termasuk Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) dan Universiti Sunway. Pertandingan berkenaan memberi cabaran kepada pelajar untuk mempamerkan kemahiran dalam pembangunan sistem.
Tahniah ‘Code Crush’ atas kejayaan membawa pulang hadiah utama daripada pertandingan ‘DELL Hack2Hire’.
SOC STUDENTS EMERGED AS CHAMPIONS OF DELL HACK2HIRE COMPETITION
Cyberjaya - A team of students from the School of Computing (SOC) won the grand prize after emerging as champions in the 'DELL Hack2Hire' competition which took place from 15 to 16 March.
The Code Crush group consisted of four Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) students in their fifth semester, namely Ms. Sangeetha Sandran, Ms. Deborah Nazarena, Ms. Anushiya Irrulappen, and Ms. Shyvonne Ho Yue Lynn.
They won the grand prize, which consists of a job offer from Dell Technologies, industrial training at Dell Technologies, an IT development programme for two years and six months that will be fully sponsored by Dell and a Rotation Programme.
Also included in the grand prize is a 24-inch Dell monitor.
The competition also attracted the participation of students from various public and private universities including Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) and Sunway University. The competition challenged students to showcase their skills in system development.
Congratulations to Code Crush for successfully taking home the top prize from the DELL Hack2Hire competition.
