August and September have been declared Research Writing (RW) Month at the School of Computing (SOC). This programme aims to foster research writing among academic staff and doctoral students and develop individual competency in academia. Therefore, this programme was officially launched on 15 August 2022 at CAS Seminar Hall by Associate Professor Dr. Mazni Omar, The CAS Assistant Vice Chancellor. It was attended by SOC academic staff and doctoral students.

During the campaign, all academic staff and doctoral students are encouraged to choose their preferred type of publication, write and publish the manuscript at the end of September and report individual achievements to the Publication Committee.
