Knowledge as an intellectual capital has become an important asset to any nation nowadays. As knowledge is a valuable resource that allows the nation to function intelligently, communities are constantly encouraged to use the brainpower to complement the rapid development of Information Technology (IT) which is a vital tool for generating and managing knowledge. Realizing its importance, Knowledge Management International Conference (KMICe) will once again provide a platform for international presentation of research findings as well as discussions and sharing of recent advances in the field. This conference will bring together leading researchers and developers in a wide variety of areas, with a common interest in improving the state of the art of knowledge management (KM). This conference will also bring together people from the academia and industry to establish closer cooperation and ties, and creation of K-based society.
As a management university, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) has initiated the platform in organizing a conference of this nature. KM has been accepted as a major driving force that drives the global economy. K-economy is at the paramount of the global discussion and most of nation leaders including this region are pushing this knowledge-based economy so they do not left behind.
Regions within the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) should take this opportunity to learn and be better equipped so that KM can be implemented to promote a win-win situation among the participating countries with respect to economic growth.
KMICe has been a successful platform for knowledge sharing for almost 20 years. Thank you for your participation and support.

Authors must prepare the manuscript using Microsoft Word. The manuscript should be written between 4,000 to 6,000 words or a minimum of 12 pages. However, the manuscript shall not exceed 14 pages at the maximum. It should strictly follow the KMICe2024 Template, which can be downloaded from the KMICe2024 website.
Please upload and submit TWO(2) manuscript files.
The abstract should briefly summarize the contents of the manuscript between 150-250 words. The abstract should contain the background of the study, problem statement, objective(s), a brief description of the methodology, the results/findings, and the significance of the study.
Please provide THREE (3) keywords only, as stated in the KMICe2024 Template.
Manuscript submission must be of original work that has not been published before. It implies that the manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors involved.
All figures, tables or text passages that have already been published elsewhere require permission from the copyright owner(s) for the print and/or online format. Authors are required to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
Authors should submit their manuscripts online. Authors need to register and login prior to submission.
Authors can submit their papers through one of the following methods:
Upon registration, authors should receive a verification email from KMICe2024. Authors must verify the account before it can be used for submission. This account serves as the main communication between the authors and KMICe2024 secretariat.
Authors are not required to do the similarity check on the manuscript before submission. Once the manuscript is submitted, the KMICe2024 technical committee shall run Turnitin for the similarity index of each manuscript. This process is to ensure the same setting is used during the similarity checking and to avoid any issue with regard to the similarity index prior to acceptance and publication of the manuscript.
The accepted similarity is less than 20%. Should the manuscript exceeds 20% of similarity, authors shall be contacted by KMICe2024 technical committee. Authors have to make necessary changes according to the Turnitin results and re-submit the manuscript following instructions from the technical committee.
Authors can check the status of the submitted manuscript from the system. The status shall be updated, from time to time, based on the current progress of the manuscripts. Should authors have any inquiries, authors are encouraged to use the ‘Message’ function in the system to communicate with KMICe2024 technical committee.
Authors shall receive notification of acceptance via email and may also check the manuscript status in the system.
After manuscript acceptance, at least ONE (1) author should register and present at the conference. The registration of the presenter can be done in the system. The registration of participants can also be done in the system.
Authors have to pay the conference fees within the stipulated time. Payment can be made using various methods, and proof of payment has to be uploaded to the system upon registration.
